Welcome to the Health Plan Chooser for CalPERS members!

Chooser allows CalPERS members to view the majority of their health plan information in one place, compare plans side-by-side and rank each plan based on personal preference.

CalPERS is interested in your feedback after using this tool. Please be sure to complete the survey by clicking on the link on the Results page.

Note: This information is for the 2011 plan year only (January 1 - December 31, 2011).

You may proceed without creating a username and password.

How to Use This Tool For Returning Users
  1. Tell us Your Profile: Chooser uses your information to calculate costs and identify available plans to help us tailor the plan comparisons for you.
  2. Compare and rate plans: Review plan Costs, Doctors, Quality Ratings, Features and Services information and rate each plan using Good Fit, So-so Fit or Poor Fit or Remove Plan.
  3. Print or save Results: Summary Results provide you with a rank comparison of all available plans based on your information.
